This is my first post to introduce myself and my personal mission to you! I am a proud papa of Three wonderful children and they are The reason why I started this adventure into exploring “What is Truly Food!?!?”. My whole life I thought I was, eating “Healthy”. Mostly home cooked vegetarian foods with the occasional fast food and pizza.
A concern of many who make the switch to raw foods is how can they fulfill their cravings for their customary snacks and treats, as many of those foods don’t play a part in their new diet. If something sweet is your snack of choice, once you get accustomed to the basics of making Raw Desserts you find that it is easy to satisfy sweet cravings with only a few ingredients. Salty snacks require a bit more creativity.
Ripe, red apples, whole raisins, and freshly ground cinnamon, sweetened with raw agave nectar and dehydrated into soft, homemade style cookies.
These little bundles of chocolate goodness are simply heaven on a spoon. The combination of chocolate and hazelnut liqueur will have you hanging on by your fingertips.
